Loyalty Club in the PeP portfolio

Polskie ePlatnosci (PeP), a company belonging to the Nexi Group – the European leader in the payment industry, concluded an agreement to purchase a minority stake in Qrtag Sp. z o.o., the owner of the Loyalty Club brand, mobile loyalty applications. This is another acquisition made by Polskie ePlatności related to value-added services, after the acquisition of Team4U Sp. z o. o. – the owner of the Simapka brand. In recent years, PeP has made a number of acquisitions, including payment operators – NeoTu, PayUp, TopCard, bill payment service providers – Billbird and online payment integrator – PayLane.

Loyalty Club is a loyalty application dedicated to the business sector, offering a wide range of functionalities, including: a virtual loyalty card, awarding points for purchases, discount coupons, a rewards catalogue, a shopping module or promotional leaflets. The solution is universal and will work in any industry, including e.g. in trade, services, HoReCa or the beauty sector. Loyalty Club operates in the white-label model, which means that the merchant can shape the appearance and content of the application (including the logo, graphics or rules of operation of the loyalty program) and manage his application in real time from the administration panel. As one of the few solutions on the Polish market, the solution offered by Loyalty Club is fully scalable and allows you to create a ready application even within a few days. The range of available functionalities means that even smaller entrepreneurs will be able to offer their customers a loyalty program similar to those offered by the largest Polish retail chains.

“Researches shows that 2/3 of Poles use loyalty applications. However, not all entrepreneurs can afford to create a dedicated application due to the high cost of its development. The entry of Loyalty Club into the PeP Group guarantees thousands of our merchants access to the latest technological solutions in relations with consumers. The service that we have successfully implemented on PAX android terminals will allow entrepreneurs to decide for themselves the rules of their loyalty programs, prizes or coupons. The acquisition is another milestone on the road to the “One Stop-Shop” strategic direction for us”, says Mateusz Nowak, Strategy and M&A Director at Polskie ePlatności (PeP) Group.

PeP is already processing transactions for over 236,000. payment terminals and ranks second in this respect on the Polish market, which means an almost tenfold increase in the last few years (in 2016, PeP had 24,000 terminals). In addition, in 2022, PeP became the largest company in the non-cash payment industry in Poland for the second time in a row in terms of revenue. PeP owes its dynamic growth, among others, to a strategy based on numerous acquisitions and consolidation of the Polish market of acquirers.

“Joining our company to the PeP Group is an unprecedented opportunity for us. I am convinced that thanks to cooperation with PeP we will be able to dynamically increase the number of customers. Our solution is intended mainly for the SME segment, where PeP has a particularly strong position. The Loyalty Club application, functionally and visually, does not differ significantly from the solutions offered by the largest retail chains in the country. Together with PeP, we will enable hundreds of thousands of small companies to have their own loyalty application”, comments Paweł Gogołek, Member of the Management Board of Qrtag Sp. z o.o., the owner of the Loyalty Club application.

“The PeP Group records the fastest growth rate in the segment of payment solution providers in Poland. In 2022, we became the second supplier of payment terminals on the market and we are not stopping. Our aspiration is to be the supplier of first choice in the field of payments in Poland”, says dds Maciej Nowosielski, President of the Management Board of Polskie ePlatności Group.

The Qrtag company from Poznań has implemented Loyalty Club, among others, in the chain of bike cafes Bike Cafe, Bar a Boo pizzeria, Top Market grocery stores, Gromulski bakery, Leopardus pet stores and Denique beauty salons. The solution is also used by the Akira Sushi & Ramen chain, as well as the Galeria MM shopping mall.
