PESEL on the terminal – new PeP service for pharmacies

PeP introduces an innovative feature that allows patients to independently enter their e-prescription code and PESEL number using the payment terminal’s keyboard. The new solution, implemented as part of integration with the Kamsoft KS-AOW system, streamlines the e-prescription fulfillment process while enhancing patient service comfort in pharmacies. The new function is available on Ingenico and PAX payment terminals integrated with the KS-AOW system.

The implementation of this new feature increases security and trust in the individuals and locations where e-prescriptions are processed. Data is transmitted directly to the Kamsoft KS-AOW system via the terminal’s keyboard, minimizing the risk of errors and improving the pharmacy staff’s work comfort. It also enhances and speeds up patient service, resulting in a faster e-prescription fulfillment process.

PeP is the first settlement agent to implement this type of service in collaboration with Kamsoft. PeP continues to develop modern payment solutions that support the digitization of medical services and improve patient service quality.
